off to puerto lopez

montanita, has been fun, but i am looking forward to a few days of quiet in
Puerto lopez... I will go to the beach for a while and then to the buss. I
am taking the bus with a couple of girls i have met here. They are studying
spanish in Manta, a town just past Puerto lopez... tomorrow or the next day
I will go to ilsa la plata and do some whale and boobie watching... blue
footed boobies. and a tour of the mainland partof the Galapagolos park.

Last night here was a very big party... All dance music and madona though...
was looking forward to some live latin music etc etc.. I am told i will get
that in Purto lopez... and the water there is calmer--- worse for surf, but
better for swimming playing.. you can go snorkeling and look at the reefs
and fish etc etc. The further i get on this trip the less time i want to
spend in cities... I HAVE SEEN ALMOST NO BUGS!!!

2 large butterflies.
a few tiny ones..
many very small ants.
2 kinds of cockroaches-- giant, american, and german.
a bee.. but i honey bee.
a few neat wasps---
NO BEETLES!!!

sigh!
